Automotive and Transport

What car dealers, mechanics, car washes, driving schools, taxi services and removalists can put on a free website.

When a car refuses to start or a move is a fortnight away, people want help from someone who looks reliable. That impression forms in the minute or two they spend on a phone, scanning what is online. A mechanic, driving instructor or removalist with a clear, honest page looks dependable before any call is made, and that is often what earns the booking.

The six sub-businesses are asked quite different things. Car dealers are asked about stock, finance and test drives. Mechanics are asked which makes they service, how long a job takes and whether a quote is provided in advance. Car washes are asked about packages and opening hours. Driving schools are asked about lesson types, test preparation and how to book. Taxi services are asked about the area covered and how to book, and removalists about coverage, how quotes work and how far ahead to book.

A free website lets each of them explain the service plainly, with a short list of what they do and a number to call. The articles in this collection show how to write that page so that a customer with a problem finds reassurance rather than another question to ask.
